Post-Surgical &
Rehabilitation Recovery
At True Potential, we guide clients through safe, progressive rehabilitation following injury or surgery. Our programs focus on restoring strength, movement, and confidence to help you return to daily life, work, or sport. Exercise is tailored to your surgery type, injury history, strength training history and current capacity, progressively rebuilding resilience while minimising the risk of re-injury.
Evidence highlights the value of prehabilitation; preparing strength, mobility, and function before major surgery can improve post-operative outcomes, accelerate recovery, and reduce complications.
Research shows that incomplete rehabilitation increases the likelihood of long-term limitations or reinjury. For example, ACL re-injury rates can reach 30% within two years, and patients following joint replacement who do not regain strength and mobility are more likely to experience functional limitations and complications. A structured, progressive rehabilitation program is essential for safe, long-term recovery and a return to daily activities, work, and sport.
