Cancer Recovery

& Exercise Support

At True Potential, we support people before, during, and after cancer treatment with safe, closely supervised exercise designed to restore strength, energy, and confidence. Programs are individualised to your diagnosis, treatment stage, side-effects, and medical clearance, helping you stay physically capable throughout recovery and beyond.

Strong evidence supports exercise before and during cancer treatment to improve physical function, reduce treatment-related side effects, help maintain treatment dosage, and support better long-term outcomes. Fatigue is one of the most common and debilitating effects of cancer and its treatment. While it can feel counterintuitive, appropriately prescribed exercise is one of the most effective interventions shown to reduce cancer-related fatigue and prevent the physical deconditioning that contributes to ongoing exhaustion.

Sessions are delivered 1:1 in our private clinic environment, allowing close monitoring of fatigue, symptoms, and recovery. Training is adjusted session-to-session to ensure exercise remains safe, progressive, and aligned with your treatment stage and capacity. The goal is to preserve physical function during treatment and restore strength, fitness, and independence through recovery.
